Informal Club Runs
1st Sunday of Each Month – Everyone Welcome!

The first Sunday in the month meet at 10am at the overflow carpark (northern side of John Street) of the Feather’s Hotel, 516 Glynburn Road, Burnside ready for departure by 10am. Enter the carpark from John Street.  Note:  This carpark is opposite the main carpark.

The route and destination is decided on the day. Any changes will be listed on the Events calendar for that run.

Being an informal run, anyone is welcome – you don’t need to be a club member (or even have a Mercedes-Benz!). This is a great way to come and meet our club members and see some of their vehicles in a friendy and relaxed social atmosphere.

Note:  Meeting location has changed from January 2024.

General Meetings

General Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:30p.m. (except for the December meeting which is the 2nd Tuesday and the January meeting which is held on 26th January) at the Combined Car Club (Triple C) Clubrooms* in the Glandore Community Centre complex – corner of Clark Ave. and Naldera St., Glandore 5037. Enter via the car park on Clark Avenue (the clubrooms are 20m to the south of the car park).

Whilst the purpose of these meetings is to primarily deal with the general business of the club, it is a good opportunity to come and introduce yourself, meet with other members and join us for a coffee after the meeting. Conditional historic registration inspections and approvals can only be done at General Meetings so you will need to attend a general meeting if you wish to obtain Conditional Registration.

Our club also maintains a comprehensive library of technical and historical publications relating to Mercedes-Benz vehicles (such as workshop manuals, owners manuals, books on the history of the marque, back issues of club magazines and more). The library is only accessible during General Meetings and club members may borrow items from the library.

Coming & Future Events

In addition to the regular meetings and informal runs listed above, the club holds at least one other organised run/event each month. The club (and individual members) also participates in many other show and shine, rally and social events.

Details of upcoming events can be found in our club magazine ‘THE STAR’ or our regular E-Newsletter.
